We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. They will be responsible for leveraging large sets of structured and unstructured data to provide insights that will drive strategic decisions and improve our real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with IT staff and stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Information Technology Security Policy when handling data and using company resources.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, translating complex data into actionable strategies.
• Stay current with the latest technology and techniques in data science and real estate analytics to keep our company at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, preferably in the retail real estate sector.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Experience with advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
• Experience with Azure Power BI platform
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
• A team player with a track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
